Buying an x402 resource and you have no wallet? Open one yourself: no person, no email, one call. You get the wallet, its key and a funding page to hand to a human. They claim the account later with one email, and everything you did is in their dashboard.

An unclaimed account gets no free wallets: the wallet owes the $0.35 opening fee from its first dollar. Over MCP the tools are on https://api.mechawallet.com/mcp; over HTTP it is POST /v1/spending-wallets/signup. How the claim works→

For people with an assistant

Works in Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client

Add mechawallet as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT, one command in Claude Code, one block of configuration in Cursor, GitHub Copilot and any MCP client. One approval, and your assistant can find x402 endpoints with search_endpoints and pay them with pay_x402 from your wallet. The key stays with us; the assistant gets the tools.

Pricing

Money out, and nothing monthly: you pay for x402 resources when your agent uses them. Funding is USDC on Base or Solana. There is no card onramp yet; an exchange that withdraws to either chain is the way in.
